Flying Instructor

Hey All!

This is a pure hypothetical since I'm asking for the purpose of pimping ideas but I may as well get off my chest:

Can someone be both a Hogwarts referee/flying instructor and a League Referee?

Question comes from the fact that once you do the firsties flying class and referee the house games there doesn't seem to be much going on to basically hold down an income. Unless HP is lying to me and everyone has flying classes.
And HP was just too brilliant to have to go...

Presumably first years have more than just one flying class. I would say it depends on Phineas Black and the league schedule?

I would say the school referee is plenty busy for it to be the only job, all flight instruction, all year; scheduling, managing, and supervising all house teams tryouts, practices and games throughout the year etc. It's like a teacher who also happens to coach, basically, except all rolled into one position.

And... I just realised I didn't put this in the Q&S Section!!! Sorry!!

And because it occurs to me that I should ask: what's the payscale for referees?

Level five if you're talking about quidditch league! For Hogwarts, it would be based on tenure same as professors.
