History:

1873: Opal is born to Brian and Lucille Boggart. The last name has been passed down through generations, and it has been rumored over the years that Opal's ancestor officially discovered the non-being known famously as the boggart. Whether that is true or purely coincidental is anyone's guess.

1874: Alexandra Boggart is born and named after their recently passed grandmother. She proves to be a quieter baby than either of her siblings will prove to be.

1878: Simon is born, a very loud and demanding baby. Though he will later grow to be a rather quiet young man.

1884: Her first year of Hogwarts, Opal is sorted into Ravenclaw. A bright young witch, she was always a good student of her governess and this habit does not stop upon her arrival at school.

1886: Elective choices come along and Opal decides to simply pick Divination. As an OWLs student, she begins tutoring a few first years.

1887: It is this school year that she decides that she is going to out-do Seneca Lestrange. Be it that Seneca was just having the worst brat tantrum, or just a smug look that rubbed Opal the wrong way. While Opal is determined to act above it, secretly she can't stand that privileged Slytherin.

1889: The end of the school year brings her OWLs results. Impressive enough, though not all Os. She sticks with Charms, DADA, Herbology, Potions, and Divination. As her grade goes up, so does the spectrum of years in those she tutors.

1890: With the end of sixth year approaching, her mother has already begun sending letters with eager discussions of her debut for the following summer.
