Olive,

As the school year draws to its end, I write firstly to wish you luck on your upcoming examinations. I am certain you will perform as diligently as you have in the past. Please let me know swiftly if there is anything you need to aid in your studying; though I am busy, I will of course endeavor to get anything necessary to you, so long as it is reasonable.

Following your examinations, you will, of course, be returning to London for the summer holidays. On what date is the train expected at King's Cross? I shall meet you there myself if scheduling allows, though if I cannot, Mrs. Carver* shall be sent in my stead.

Yours sincerely,
Pandora

Miss Foxglove,

I am now, as ever, grateful for your faith and for your generosity. I began studying for my exams some months ahead, as I always have, and can think of nothing for which you have not already provided. At most, my supply of powdered Dittany may not survive the term, and I have nearly run out of Ethel's* food, but neither is urgent and both could be easily acquired once I return to London.

We will be boarding the train after breakfast on the 29th of May. I should very much like to see you, if you can manage it. If not I do hope you will stop by the house before too long. I need to discuss my plans for next term's classes with you.

Additionally, I wondered if we might find time this summer to visit the Museum of Magical Miscellany. A friend at school went over Christmas break and recommended it to me.

Yours sincerely,
Olive

Pandora sighed as she read the letter. She knew she was a poor facimile of a motherly figure, had never really sought to be more, but it was tiring to be thanked for doing what was, in the witch's estimation, the bare minimum. Olive was intelligent and polite, the two things Pandora wished most of her, but perhaps would need to develop confidence as well.

Olive,

Enclosed are notes for Professor Valenduris and your house matron regarding the dittany and food for Ethel; I shall reimburse the school for providing both from their stores, as I expect it to be a swifter process than to shop and ship the goods. While I daresay the castle has enough of a rodent population that Ethel shall not starve regardless, I know cats can be quite bothersome if left without the standard of living to which they have become accustomed.

I have noted your arrival into my diary, and see no reason why I should not be able to meet you at King's Cross station. As to your request to visit the museum, I should be delighted to see it happen. A curious mind ought always to be fostered, after all.

Yours sincerely,
Pandora
