Hi, welcome to my boredom muse. It's dangerous, being all caught up and having a muse hovering in the periphery.

This is Addie, she's a muggleborn who was disowned by her religious family upon getting her Hogwarts letter. She was, fortunately, taken in by her estranged, spinster aunt, who also happened to go through the same experience.

It was a lot for a fresh eleven-year old, but with a few years of Hogwarts under her belt now, Addie is one thing; determined. She wants to take after her aunt and go into healing after school so takes her studies seriously. She's pretty independent, but I would like for her to have a small circle of friends. That said, she's probably not everyone's cup of tea and I would love to explore that!

Addie will tell you she's far too busy for silly things like boys and crushes, but listen, I am not. So this is wide open too!

She takes Potions, Transfiguration, Herbology, Charms, Care of Magical Creatures and Defense Against the Dark Arts, as she is leaning toward Creature Induced Injuries after school, but is also pretty good at Potions and Charms, so it's open. Creatures is her guilty pleasure, because as muggleborn, she relishes in the fact that there are so many fantastic beasts in the world!

I'm hoping to put up ads for her aunt, Tallulah Lawson, and her currently-ten-year-old sister who will be getting her Hogwarts letter in June. Yay magical siblings!

My best option is probably Charles Whymper, since they're both Serious Students and Future Healers, and also he's closest to her in age. All my students are pretty intense in their own ways, but Lucy and James would have less reason to cross her path. XD

Also Fiona Little as the school nurse, and also potential mentor-y figure?

Part of me also wishes she had cause to cross paths with Chastity Bentley because their backgrounds are painfully similar. XD

Jessamine and Elisabeth are closest to her in age, though I don't know if she would know Elise unless she met her outside of school. Both of them are light purists, though, and while they wouldn't mind befriending her, they do have an air of superiority and look down on her family for not being magic. However, I feel like Addie might get along with (or be friends with) Chessie and if that's the case, Jessamine might be kinder for her sake. Nevertheless, they have classes together so they will at least know each other in passing.

Ofc, I also have Hyacinth if she has any reason to interact with a first year.

Ohhh I can definitely see her and Charles getting along! Study buddies? Maybe she helps him with some OWL level assignment?

I also love the idea of Fiona being a mentor figure! Maybe she helps out in the hospital wing every once in a while?

Yeah I'm coming up empty on Elise, they live in wildly different worlds XD

As for Minnie it would probably depend on Addie's relationship with Chessie! After perusing profiles, I can see Addie and Chessie clicking, so we'd have to rope Cherry in to suss it out further! Would love a thread once we figure it out!

Addie's maternal instincts are strong, so everybody's firsties are safe with her! XD

Study buddies works for me! Also love for Addie to help out in the hospital wing.

Fiona needs a new thread more than Charles does, so I'd be down to write one for them! Maybe after school starts up again after the holidays?
