If time had a way to stretch on infinitely and she could stay in this moment the entire time, Daffy was pretty sure she could be content with that. The exhaustion was creeping up on her though and with the emotional display of a few moments ago the final straw in the stack, she felt like an inferius walking.

Daffy almost protested as he leaned back, but she found herself doing the same, if only to see his expression. To say she was pleased by what she found would be an understatement. She felt that long-dormant flutter of something new and promising settle into her chest and take root right where it should. Chuckling quietly, her fatigue betrayed her and she could be placated by his answer about the pumpkins. "I'm absolutely knackered, I'm actually already asleep, you just don't know it " Daffy could concede to making him come back tomorrow for a proper tour. She didn't think it would take too much convincing.

"I will allow for tomorrow, if you promise to come back at closing." That way she could monopolize his time once again and show him everything she wanted to. This time she could show him her workshop. The basement wasn't quite as big or as warm as his workspace, but she was proud of what she had put together. Daff could easily envision him in the space too, as natural as it was for her to be there. Hopefully he would stop by often from here on out. Maybe she would even put him to work. This really was exactly what she needed, something and someone to look forward to.
