Dear Mister Fisk

Thank you for taking the time to talk to me the other evening, I appreciate both that I monopolised much of your evening and were perhaps not the type of company you expected at that event.  I apologies for the abruptness of my departure, I was suddenly rather overcome with the evening. 

You spoke of options, ways in which a young lady in my position might make the most of opportunities to travel and wondered if you might be prepared to offer more advice?  I am grateful for that which you have already provided but if you were amenable I might be so bold as to try and prevail upon your experience and insight. 

I thank you once again for your time and will not take any offense if your answer is no, although I hope that it will not be.
