Fog in Irvingly
See the Strange Sight!
Yesterday mid-morning, Irvingly residents awoke to find Salem Square encompassed by a thick, dry fog that smelled of dust. The fog is definitely magical rather than natural, and Magical Accidents & Catastrophes has been dispatched to observe the fog, but at this time is advising residents that it does not seem to be dangerous.
This has led some citizens to lead 'fog tours,' and competing to see how well they can navigate Salem Square without being able to see more than a few feet in front of them. Otherwise, business as usual continues in Irvingly.
When asked about the fog excursions, Miss Zelda Fisk stated, "I mean, we don't advise it as we're still not sure what's causing the fog, but everyone seems fine."
Due to the fog's seeming disruption of the floo connection to the Irvingly Casino, Ministry employees have been flooing into and out of private homes in Swallowbury District.
The fog did not abate this morning, nor were Irvingly authorities or the Ministry able to release an estimate on when it would. Magical Accidents & Catastrophes seems to believe that it will abate on its own, and are observing the policy of no magic in Irvingly until further notice.
