Camilla quirked an eyebrow at her brother; this was not the sort of thing she'd expected to hear from Domitian, but it was significantly more interesting than she'd expected. Thoughtful, too. "Oh?" she said, wanting to pry but not wanting to pry; she would have to restrain herself to sounds and mental notes on her brother's marriage. "I am rather looking forward to the freedoms of marriage." Well, eventually, and if she was successful this year.

Domitian made a hmm noise at this statement. What he thought, but of course would never say, was perhaps you ought to consider marrying someone, then. He was convinced it would be quite simple for either of his sisters to secure a very good match, if only they were capable of striking one particular requirement from their list: pureblood.

He honestly didn't know whether it was her own requirement, or only their father's. Given the way they'd been brought up, and the traditional ideals of the Zabini household, it could have been either. He sometimes still felt inadequate when he considered his own blood, though he would have challenged any man who dared to put words to that particular insecurity to his face. But even if it was only their father's requirement, Domitian was certainly no stranger to doing things he disagreed with only to appease their father. Camilla, certainly, could not afford to be disowned before she was married — women needed their connections after marriage just as much as they did while debutantes.

"Put together a itinerary for your honeymoon, so I can warn your future husband," he teased, though his voice was a touch distant and his thoughts were miles away from mirth.

She thought that Domitian's distant voice was a reflection perhaps of the thoughts in her own head; that she was going to have to get crafty this year if she wanted to have a husband ever, and she was going to have to decide where the lines for her strategies lay. She glanced to the side again, spotted one of the Prewett twins - could not tell which one - and then looked back at Domitian. "Oh, I'll have it sent to your office," Camilla said, in the girly cheerful tone she reserved for such pleasantries. She couldn't think of such things darkly when she was out, and especially not when she was out here.

Domitian's mouth twitched towards a smile at that remark. "So that I can have it vetted by the whole office of hit wizards?" he asked, shaking his head. Not that all of them were well-traveled — it was not the most glamorous career in the Ministry, by any means — but there were a few men like him loitering around, who didn't need the job but liked the excitement.

"I think that my travel plans are important," Camilla replied playfully, "So why not?" Were any of his hit wizards attractive and eligible, she wondered? She could check that, probably; she'd have to ask Matilda subtly if she was going to try, though, because she didn't think that Domitian would enjoy the question much.

"I'll keep an eye out for it," he said dryly, shaking his head. If she actually did manage to find a husband this season, he'd personally annotate the whole itinerary if she wanted — but it didn't seem terribly likely, given her track record of seasons so far. Domitian, perhaps biased by his own wedding, thought these things were much better handled with they were arranged — but that would require his father to actually care what happened to his halfblooded children, and Dom wasn't certain that he did, whatever he might say.

"I suppose I ought to leave you to it, then," he said with a shrug. "Your honeymoon plans will be lacking without a groom."
