Pros
Cons
— Respectable.
— Charming, well-mannered, sociable, a good conversationalist, of an agreeable disposition.
— A good role model for Charity.
— Interested in my work, without an interest in working herself.
— Exemplary letter-writer.
— An unnecessary consideration, but has a large dowry.
— Alfred seems to get on with her.
— Values family.
— Good kisser.
— Will be an excellent hostess.
— Always knows what to say.
— A broken courtship would do neither of us any favours. Has probably gone on too long for me to begin finding anyone else.

American, dear god.
— Family made their business in shipping.
— Too young for Charity to properly consider her a "mother".
— Too young for me.
— She seems to like Alfred. (Why??)
— Possibly some predisposition to have "adventures."
— What exactly was her boggart about? Furniture?
— If she is to host parties, I will have to attend them.
— Visits to America seem an inevitability.
— "Loves fireworks." Told her I like them too. Will have to continue the farce forever that I care whatsoever for fireworks.
