Appearance: Rhych is five feet tall, thin, and has light brown hair. His strong hand and wand hand is his right hand. He wears basic practical clothes that Gelasius Smith gave him before he left for Hogwarts. He does have regular robes for going to class and dress robes for special occasions. Rhych picked mostly blue shirts and robes and tan pants or jeans. All students from the Gelasius School of Special Children have an account at Gringotts donated by Seimon Pendry, the school’s key financial supporter.

October 31. Born to Siorus and Delyth Greenthorn, nee Elfynn.
1883
September 16. Strange things (incidents of magic) started happening in the Greenthorn household. A book his father put back on the bookshelf mysteriously flew back to him.
September 20. After Rhych’s mother locked him in his bedroom, the door opened without anyone being near it.
1884
May 24. After he was angry about something, everything in his bedroom flew across it and made a complete mess.
May 31. Thrown out of his home. Was able to stay overnight at a friend’s house.
June 2. Started living in an abandoned building he found in the neighborhood in London.
June 3. Started scavenging in garbage for food to eat.
June 9. Started stealing from stores.
June 23. Started scavenging in the garbage outside restaurants for food to eat.
August 19. Beaten up and mugged by a street urchin, but afterward the kid was accosted by a broom and other things in the alley.
1886
February 15. Started pickpocketing people on the street.
May 5. Met Gelasius Smith on the street. Gelasius took Rhych to lunch and told him about his school, but Rhych said he wasn’t interested, but thanked him for lunch. Thought Gelasius was a fool wasting his money on him for nothing.
August 31. Caught pickpocketing someone and was arrested. During his trial, Gelasius Smith suggested the judge allow him to take Rhych to his school.
September 6. Entered the Gelasius School for Special Children.
September 9. Was a difficult student. Not interested in his classes, doesn’t like his fellow students.
September 24. Ran away from the school.
October 10. A group of street urchins tried to beat Rhych up, but they were accosted by garbage in the street. The kid who beat him up earlier was one of the kids in this group.
October 15. The same group of street urchins tried once again to beat Rhych up and again, they were accosted by garbage in the street. One of the leaders realized there was something special about Rhych and asked him if he was interested in joining the gang.
October 16. Rhych joined the gang of boys.
November 10. Found by a teacher from the school. He explained to Rhych about his being a wizard and that the Gelasius School for Special Children could teach him how to deal with his powers.
1887
January 5. Returned to the Gelasius School for Special Children and did exactly what the teacher suggested. Did a lot better in his classes.
1888
August 14. Received his letter from Hogwarts.
September 1. Entered Hogwarts. Definitely rough around the edges.
1889
September 1. Returned to Hogwarts for his second year.

His positive traits are more found in classes and in front of the professors, than they are in private. In private with other students, his neutral and negative traits seem to win out. He is different in front of the professors, being more respectful and being more open than he is in front of students where he is less respectful and more private. And he isn't very fond of prefects at all.
Rhych doesn’t like rich people, because he thinks they are nothing but stuck up pricks. That’s why he borrows the rich kids’ things he likes. They can afford to miss them for a little while and he always returns them. He’s just careful to make sure no one knows it’s him who borrowed them in the first place.
He takes his studies at Hogwarts seriously because they're more interesting and different than anything he saw at the Gelasius School. He can’t stand the rich, pureblood assholes who mess around in class and don’t pay any attention to the professors and make it hard for him to hear what the professors are trying to teach them.
He needs to learn to trust people before he becomes friends with them. He is amiable and cordial, but still cautious around people he just meets.
He was and probably will always be fascinated by Hogwarts, the castle and the school itself. He can be found roaming around all kinds of corridors in the castle during the day of night.
Rhych loves all the magic classes the best, though he also loves Herbology and Potions, though he finds some of the ingredients rather disgusting. He likes unicorns and refuses to use it in any form as an ingredient in any potion. He doesn’t like wands with Unicorn hair in them.
He was socially rough a year ago, but he learned how to deal with the other students better. Though admittedly, he still steals from – borrows things from other students.

Hudson felt himself seething throughout the trial as he wrote down the events that were happening. He tried to get as much of the exact statements as he could, knowing they were very important. They were current events and current events was history. He noticed something strange. He didn’t see anyone else trying to record the trial, like you had in real – like you had in old trials in the United States of America. As he walked home, he was working on the editorial in his head. It had to be rhetorical. And on the way, after making the same statement over and over again, he came upon the perfect question to juxtapose with it. He was proud of himself for coming up with such a superb question that he felt should resonate with the readers. He couldn’t wait to get home to see what the words in his head would look like on paper. He decided not to give the editorial he was going to write a title because it would be obvious.
As he finished writing the editorial, Hudson wondered if it was too repetitive. He decided it needed to be to drive his point home. He realized he had to be careful. With this new editorial, he could easily find himself jailed, at the very least. The new society hadn’t out and out killed someone who turned against them. No one had. Yet. The editorial Hudson wanted to publish could possibly get himself killed. Vladimir Putin supposedly killed reporters right outside Moscow. What about Xi Jinping, the president of China – the president for life of China? What about Kim Jong-Un, the leader of North Korea? Un supposedly killed his cousin or uncle or something. Was he his half brother? How long would it take before his life was in danger? Hudson wondered.
Hudson undressed and went into his bed wearing only his shorts. Would he be able to get any sleep with all these thoughts running around in his head? He wondered. As soon as his head touched his pillow, he closed his eyes. He found a comfortable, relaxing spot in bed and minutes later, he was sound asleep.
