Esteban stands at five feet, nine inches and has an athletic build from years of playing Quidditch in the Quidditch club. He has green eyes and Loreal worthy, curly light brown hair. His wand hand is his right hand. Esteban wears the typical clothing of a working class man with a tendency to be more casual in his attire.History:
1861: Esteban is born to a Mexican immigrant and his English wife in London, England. Both were magical but neither of them were purebloods. Life is hard for them but they are generally happy though Alessandro never quite acclimates to the English climate and attitudes. Having been a Quidditch captain for his country's national team, Alessandro finds it hard to find suitable work now that he has retired from Quidditch. Even so, a love for Quidditch is instilled in Esteban almost since the day he was born.Personality:
1867: Esteban shows his first signs of magic by enlarging his toy broom.
1872: Esteban starts his schooling and immediately joins clubs including the Flying and Quidditch club. He is a gregarious boy and has no trouble making friends. Since he is the Zavala's only child, he is able to stay beyond the First Year Fund.
1876: Esteban takes his OWLs gets decent results. He also firmly decides that he is going to be a Quidditch player much to his mothers displeasure and fathers joy. He manages to get onto Puddlemere United as a second string keeper.
1877: The upheaval luckily doesn't effect Estebans family too much though they are among those migrating to Hogsmeade.
1879: Esteban's mother becomes pregnant this year as well which is shocking to young Esteban despite the fact that he has always been uncomfortably aware that his parents still had relations due to their relatively small lodgings.
1880: Esteban's baby brother, Mateo, is born. Esteban takes quite a liking to him.
1881-1883: Esteban is elevated to First String Keeper in 1881 and uses his newly increased income to move into a wizarding apartment in London so that his parents and baby brother can have more space. This same year he also becomes more involved in activist type activities. This is what ultimately led him to becoming part of an activist group that meets regularly enough for him to have befriended a majority of the lot. In 1883, Esteban becomes Captain of Puddlemere United.
1884: The plague doesn't effect him other than his mother falling ill. Happily, she recovers.
1885: Esteban moves in with a man named Sindri Thorsen that he is having a romantic entanglement with though he keeps it secret from his friends. They're both working class men so it doesn't really raise any eyebrows anyway. It is Esteban's first experience with an actual emotions involved affair so he finds that he is pretty crap at it.
1886: Esteban and his lover have a falling out which doesn't really come as a surprise to the Keeper and Esteban is fully single again. He returns to his livelihood of flirtations and fun.
1887: Esteban makes the acquaintance of a lovely young woman from a rival Quidditch team. He entertains the thought of courting her and there are even rumours about them but in the end, Esteban is just not ready for that level of commitment.

Esteban quite enjoys women but he is careful about his indiscretions. He would never do anything that might tarnish a womans reputation and cause her to fall from grace so it is a very rare thing for him to have sexual relations with middle class ladies and obviously women of the upper class. He has never been in love with any of his past flings and doesn't see it happening for him at all nor does he really want it to at this point.
Esteban sometimes uses his prominence to subtly nudge his fans towards the groups causes. He never does anything especially untoward, however, which allows him to comfortably hold his position as a professional Quidditch player. As easy going as ever, he also isn't too fussed on what will happen if he does one day go too far and lose his position. Worrying causes wrinkles.

Esteban smiled as the other man broke into a grin, his happiness at being back in the game quite obvious. He couldn't imagine having to retire and he hoped to get himself a wife that wouldn't care if kept playing Quidditch. Bonus points if she was also a Quidditch player. It would make married life so much more interesting.
He hummed in commiseration when Lockhart talked about how his father wasn't thrilled with his decision. Esteban had lucked out in having a father that had also been a Quidditch player so he had none of that sort of stress.
Fortuna? "Ah.. Is that your sister or something?" He asked, not quite sure. It could also have been some sort of family pet that Lockhart remained fond of.
