Appearance: Fully grown at 5 ft. 3 in. tall, Eleanor appears more compact than she is. She’s got curves from having her two children, and if you were to ever get under her corset, you’d see that she’s got some stretch marks to prove it. That’s neither here nor there though. She keeps her long blonde hair piled on top of her head in a messy bun and can often be found with paint on her cheeks and frock from playing with Beth and Zachariah in the evenings. She’s also knee deep in dirt sometimes. Since she is still in the two year mourning period for her husband, she is only found in black clothes out in public and only wears any kind of colors when she’s in her living areas with her children.

History:
1860: Born to Shaun and Renee Bogart in Dublin, Ireland, Eleanor was an only child due to several miscarriages for Renee. As such, Eleanor was much doted upon.
1865: Eleanor caught the chicken pox from a muggle kid she was playing with and almost died. This made Renee even more protective of her. Despite being an only child, Eleanor was raised with a firm hand which kept her from being too energetic and wild.
1870: Eleanor’s first sign of magic. She’d had a green thumb for as long as she could remember, growing flowers in their garden in Dublin for many years. She grew a raspberry bush in the garden in a matter of minutes. To this day her parents keep it tended carefully and it bears more fruit than anything else they have.
1871: Eleanor gets her Hogwarts letter and is Sorted into Gryffindor. She does well in her classes, taking immediately to herbology and care of magical creatures. Come her third year, she takes up divination for a lark but drops it after her OWLs when she gets an A in it.
1878: Having completed her classes, receiving top marks in all her NEWTs, Eleanor attends the coming out ball at the end of the year. She is approached by Alexander Rigby, a former Ravenclaw who graduated six years prior. He was making a name for himself in the wizarding world as a promising young magizoologist and wanted to court her as her grades in Herbology and transfiguration were quite exceptional.
1878 cont.: After a six month courtship, Xander and Ellie are married in a simple ceremony in Dublin and then again in London where Xander’s family lives. They get a house in London where he works as a magizoologist.
1882: Mary Elizabeth is born after a long labor. She was a large baby, weighing in at 8 pounds even. She was doted on immediately.
1883: The Podmore Zoo in Irvingly opens up and Xander decides to move somewhere more conducive for the children to grow up. The house in London is sold and they purchase a small but tidy home in Irvingly so he can be near his job. They're living there when Zachariah was born, their family felt complete.
1887: Xander is killed in the flying tigers attack and Ellie is devastated. They might have married for conventional purposes but they’d grown to love each other a lot throughout the seven years. The traditional mourning period of a year was the longest in Eleanor’s life, and not just because she couldn’t do much besides take care of her children but because she genuinely mourned for the loss of her husband. Ellie sold the house in Irvingly and moved to London to live with her in-laws because she wanted to stay close to where her husband was and going back to Ireland felt too real.
1888: As much as she liked living with the Rigby family, London felt too confined after a year of living there. She discussed it with her family, both in Ireland and in London, and she decided to talk to the Board of Governors about working for Hogwarts. They were good years for her, leading up to her marriage to Xander. Besides, the spot was open and she was fantastic at the magic so…. Here she is. Earth magic professor. Her children live in Bartonburg, Hogsmeade with her and a governess takes care of them during the day. “Gotta get back to Hogwarts, gotta get back to schooooooooooool”
