Did You Know?
Braces, or suspenders, were almost universally worn due to the high cut of men's trousers. Belts did not become common until the 1920s. — MJ
Had it really come to this? Passing Charles Macmillan back and forth like an upright booby prize?

UCAB *| ANY REP | BALL

What: Moonlight Ball
Who: Rufina has invited all UC households (excepting those with a fully non-human at the helm), as well as select MC ones.
Cost:
Where: Mulciber House, Wellingtonshire, Hogsmeade
Why: Root out werewolves in the community, tbh
When: August 5th

See and Be Seen: with the recent furor surrounding werewolves, Rufina has come up with the simplest means of rooting out evil the problem in their community: invite everyone to a party, and cast suspicion on anyone who is not there. Footmen will be taking names of guests as they arrive in an police state hellscape effort to make a list of who isn't there, that aspersions might be cast appropriately.

But it's still a party! Albeit slightly under duress! The Mulciber ballroom has been magically extended to be TEN TIMES it's usual size. This has resulted in some "fuzziness" around the edges; guests may occasionally be magically shoved into other ground floor rooms of the house. The dress code is "celestial", whatever that means, and an indoor full moon illuminates the dance floor.

ACAB | REP 4+ | Enchanted Garden Party

What: Enchanted Garden Party
Who: Hosted by a couple MC NPC families; any class is invited, but really aimed at UC/MC, as they have money to donate
Cost: N/A, but donations highly encouraged
Where: Hogsmeade Hall
Why: To raise money for school supplies for needy Hogwarts children
When: August 16th

The inside of Hogsmeade Hall has been set up to resemble a garden with magical plants that are charmed to stay vibrant. They change color with the breeze, which has been enchanted to rotate randomly between light breezes and quick gusts. There are some light refreshments, but nothing overly substantial.

Entertainment includes children’s games like enchanted hoop races, and a wand-lighting contest for adults, where participants create the brightest lumos charm. There will be several rounds and the winner wins a baked good. The judges are the host and hostess, so feel free to use them as you please. The lights inside will dim as it gets darker outside, and as the sun sets magical fireflies will fill the gardens.

There is no ball or dancing afterward.

ACAB | REP ANY | PROTEST MARCH

What: Howler's March
Who: It is unclear who is hosting it, bundles of flyers have been handed out about town, mostly by children but also by sympathetic adults and have begun to spread. Anyone is welcome, unless they are a meanie.

Cost: Only the cost of buying or making a wolf mask. There may be a rep cost associated of course.
Where: Hogsmeade, on the back of the flyers are written various meeting locations such as near the Hog's Head, near the Post Office, Near the sweet shop and they will quickly join together once things get going.
Why: To celebrate life and shun discrimination
When: August 6th, 1895, 8pm
This march is an answer to all the discrimination and other nonsense coming down from the ministry and associated members of "polite" society. It is not objectively pro-werewolf but is against the current situation they are facing.. Everyone has been told to wear wolf masks, singing and dancing down the street will be strongly encouraged. Any more active public nuisance will be discouraged. Everyone is expected to wear a wolf mask.

The starting point is slightly dispersed to hopefully mean a few naysayers cant spoil the whole thing.
