Timoleon Maxime of London, 32, has announced his candidacy for the Minister of Magic.

With a background deeply in law, Mr. Maxime brings a wealth of experience and commitment to the election. A native of France and alum of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, he joined the Ministry in 1881. A dedicated public servant, Mister Maxime began his career as a clerk although was quickly promoted to a lawyer. He has served as the Assistant Head to the Department of Magical Law Enforcement for a little over a year.

Mr. Maxime is known to spend many hours outside of his schedule at the office, and has commented he will continue to do so if elected. Throughout his career with the Ministry, he has worked tirelessly toward protecting the public and vows to continue such work through his campaign, although the details of what that entails has yet to be announced. He has a history of a very right wing political alignment.

Mr. Maxime remains unmarried, although is also a prominent member of society. It is expected he will hold rallies to announce his campaign in the near future.
