Minny knew when she woke up something was different. She felt different in her own skin, and her maid hadn't come in with her breakfast tray. Normally, her ladies maid knew to wake her most mornings as she didn't care to sleep particularly long. She liked to see the children in the morning before the Governess started her work with them.

In a dreamlike state she sat herself in front of this girls looking glass. She was in a fine nightdress, and decades younger than she gone to sleep. This body had clearly never born children and the left hand bore no ring. Her eyes met her own in the glass.

The peachy cream complexion of the young lady looking back at her was the one she might have imagined for herself in her wishes. The beautiful dark eyes, the sweet features and and raven locks. A true beauty. What she wouldn't have given in her youth to sit so comfortably before a looking glass.

Now what in Merlin's name was she meant to do about this.
