Appearance:

General | Just above average at five feet, three and three-fourths inches, Aurelia possesses a feminine figure, blue eyes, aristocratically pale skin, and thick, dark black hair. She is right-handed with quill and with wand.


Expressions | Aurelia is a very tightly controlled young woman, as is expected of her station. Yet around only friends, she becomes almost an entirely different person, laughing freely despite her giggles often being called “irritating,” smiling her biggest smiles. She does not let anyone save family see her cry.


Deportment | The look Aurelia goes for is dignified. Back straight, head held high, with a “floaty” walk and her hands carefully held either in front of her or at her sides. She carries most of her tension in her upper back, supported by her corset.


Fashion | In everyday fashion, Aurelia prefers wizarding robes cut with a bodice fit and paired with a simple underdress. However, she prefers muggle fashion for evening wear, citing “it’s what everyone else wears” when really she just likes the cut of the necklines and skirts. She would wear evening dresses at all hours if she could.


Accessories | Delicate, feminine gold pieces, often accented with jewels or cream-toned pearls. There is no one unifying accessory (yet) for Aurelia.


Scent | Strangely sweet, almost like peaches.

History:

1873: Aurelia is born, second child and firstborn daughter to Malcom and Renata. Her father insists her middle name be Maria.

1874: In late August, a pair of twins are born. In December, they are named Leona and Leandra. Once more, Mr. Bulstrode (the younger) insists that their middle names begin with M.

1877: Isolation comes to the household as muggles riot against the magical community.

1879: Aurelia’s first act of magic comes in the privacy of the family home, in the midst of the dining room of all places, as she makes her dinner dance to capture the attention of her father, busy as he is reading for work. It fails to catch his attention, but does capture her mother’s.

1882: Mayhew is off to Hogwarts.

1884: Time comes for Aurelia to attend the prestigious magical school, alongside cousin Cecilia. Unlike her cousin, Aurelia is sorted to Hufflepuff, a fact which she finds interesting. She’d expected to be sorted to Slytherin, like her mother before her.

1885: The twins arrive at Hogwarts.

1886: Selecting OWL courses is surprisingly easy for the debutante to be. She selects the sociable Divination, and only Divination. The class proves a challenge, but a welcome one.

1889: Following her OWLS, Aurelia settles on Divination, Charms, Transfiguration, and Astronomy as her NEWTS. Thankfully her grades allow it.

1891: It comes time for Cecilia and Aurelia to both debut. Renata, dealing with three daughters, insists that her sister-in-law handle Cecilia’s debut — though Aurelia tries, in vain, to convince her mother otherwise over correspondence during the school year.

1892: Welcome in the new year, golden one, and ready yourself for the Season to come.
