Artifact Incidents Intern @ St. Mungo's
January 7th, 1865 » Cora Elise Ashby is born to her parents as their oldest child. The couple had only been married for less than a year, and the arrival of their daughter warmed their relationship up.
Summer 1867 » Cora and her parents welcome their second child and first son, Forrest, to the family. Cora is overjoyed at having a younger sibling.
Fall 1868 » Cora, Forrest, and their parents welcome their third cihld, and second daughter Ophelia to the family. Cora is jealous about not being the only girl, and she forces herself to be kind to the girl.
Spring 1870 » Cora and family welcome the fourth and final child to the Ashby family, a boy named Fletcher. Cora, now 5 years old, loves her youngest brother and showers him with attention. Her first signs of magic appear whilst playing with her younger siblings by making flowers "dance" in the garden.
Summer to September 1st, 1876 » Cora receives her acceptance letter to Hogwarts. She gets mildly sick on the lake crossing to Hogwarts Castle and Cora is sorted into Ravenclaw.
Summer 1877 » Forced to flee their small manor house, the Ashby family moved house to Bartonburg, Hogsmeade Village. The second year Ravenclaw is afraid for those who chose not to move.

School Year 1881-1882 » Hussies, bans, and now drafts for the extension of Hogsmeade support danger and Cora wants to be somewhat safe from harm, but she wouldn't complain if she were drafted, feeling as though she should prove her worth to her parents in the upcoming years.
She ended up being drafted and luckily her group did not have much to fear as the group of four escaped the draft with hardly more than blisters and sunburns. Her seventh year, however, was met with a newfound infatuation with Gideon Browne, though she did not act upon it.
School Year 1882 to 1883 » Cora took the Apparation examination and passed, having decided to wait until she was eighteen. Her NEWT scores in 1883 were as follows:

1883 to Present » 1883 was a rather uneventful year for Cora. Her mother sent her to all important events that they could reasonably afford in hopes of Cora finding a husband possibly in the upper class, but just a husband would have sufficed. Cora, frustrated that with all of her high marks she was not being allowed to pursue a respectable career such as healing, which had in her seventh year, become a dream.
In summer 1884, the Laughing Plague struck and both Cora's mother and brother Forrest passed away late into the Plague. Cora now felt liberated in a matter of speaking. Her father told her to wait until after she was out of mourning to consider a career.
December of 1885, well after her exiting mourning, Cora decided on becoming an Artifact Incidents Healer and began her internship at St. Mungo's, though she still lives at home.
