Thread Roulette
For those of you new to Thread Roulettes, the rules are simple: sign up with the character(s) of your choosing to get paired with (an)other character(s) for posting purposes—characters you may not have interacted before, or perhaps given much thought to in the past! This roulette is explicitly for characters aged 10 to just-finished-sixth-year. The Diagon Alley Business Association is celebrating the Summer Soltice with a scavenger hunt of sorts. It will run from June 21st to June 22nd, with children being magically assigned a partner to complete it with. The stakes are moderate: one pair that completes the hunt will have their supply list for the upocoming school year completely covered!* Your roulette thread can take place on any of those days, and you could be given a partner or placed in a group of 3-4 depending on your preference.
* I'll actually draw a winner based on threads completed by July 22nd!
Rules & Information:
- There will be only up to four character entries per member.
- Signups will last from today until June 20th, with the thread groupings announced on Friday the 21st.
- You will be given an objective from the scavenger hunt list for your characters to accomplish.
- There is no deadline, meaning you can thread at your own pace and still collect the stamp upon completion.
- And there are four Thread Roulette stamps available for those who participate and complete their roulette threads! To qualify for the stamp, threads must be ten posts long at least, three of those posts being your own, and it must be concluded and archived. To claim it, please post in the Stamp Station.
- Completing a Roulette thread counts as a Camp Charming activity!
- Make sure your character's guardian doesn't mind you roving Diagon Alley on your own, or with a put-upon NPC nanny/governess/other chaperone in tow!
