After a magical attempt on her life in 1877, Queen Victoria launched a crusade against magic that, while tidied up by the Ministry of Magic, saw the Wizarding community exiled to Hogsmeade, previously little more than a crossroad near the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the years that have passed since, Hogsmeade has suffered plagues, fires, and Victorian hypocrisy but is still standing firm.
Thethe year is now 1895. It’s time to join us and immerse yourself in scandal and drama interlaced with magic both light and dark.
With the same account, complete eight different threads where your character interacts with eight different usergroups. At least one must be a non-human, and one a student.

Inspired by an actual thing that happens where I live, the Pumpkin Regatta will give your characters their first ever opportunity to hollow out a giant pumpkin and paddle it across a lake. This no magic allowed competition will award ribbons for Best Decorated and Greatest Performance, as well as the Golden Gourd trophy to the winning pair!
Enterprising farmers will probably have pumpkins for sale at the market in the days leading up to the competition.
The rules are as follows: IC:
Participants must be ten years of age or older.
Only teams of two will be admitted.
Though magic may be employed in the growing of the pumpkin, it cannot have been employed in its decoration or piloting.
There is to be a four-knut entry fee for each team.
OOC:
WC characters are welcome regardless of age or sex.
MC/UC males who can be classed as "young and/or silly" are welcome to partake.
MC females of Hogsmeade age may also partake, but ought to be paired with another MC female of Hogwarts age or a related male.
Though anyone can say their character was involved, you must sign up here to be considered for VICTORY!
Want to enter your character? Simply fill in the form below on or before October 2nd. You will also have to post your character in your pumpkin, set on October 5th and posted between October 2nd and 5th. Pairs are encouraged to have a thread together, while those with an NPC partner might consider a read-only or some "gentle" heckling of your opponents!

I Can Row: Sort of Upper Body Strength: Yes I Can Swim: Yes - but usually just recreationally so like... if he has to outswim something, no chance. Best Decorated: Yes. Quidditch-pitch inspired, with a set of miniature hoops at the front and back (Ben may or may not use them as a targeting system to hurl projectiles at other teams - they've come equipped with small sacks of colorful powder) and carvings of a snitch, quaffle, and bludgers, which are illuminated from the interior with candles on tiny shelves (because nothing could possibly go wrong with two guys with a bunch of small fires in a very confined space).
