MEMORY: Being sorted into Slytherin and being pushed to find her friends and herself
AND… 5

Man. She frowned at the tip of her wand, the one that had produced nothing. She knew the patronus charm was supposed to be hard, but not hard enough that it produced absolutely nothing her first attempt. Honestly, Maggie had just assumed she would have gotten something. The last time she had failed so bad, she had still been a first year just learning magic. Maybe her memory just wasn't enough. She supposed it made sense that is wasn't. Just because it was a happy memory maybe she associated it too much with not being allowed to try out. Maybe instead she could use... well they never said they had to use something concrete, right? So maybe it could just be a series of things that built up and made her warm and tingly. Biting her lip, she cast again.

CHARMS: Outstanding
MEMORY: Getting to finish all seven years in Hogwarts
AND… 4
FORM: Random
PREVIOUSLY ON DADA: produced wisps in sixth year
Owain had been working hard on his Defense Against the Dark Arts skills. He wasn't the best at it - Charms were more his forte - but he was passable enough, he felt. He had managed some wisps the year prior so perhaps he could manage a patronus. He was also willing to put some extra work into it if Professor Sleptov would agree to tutoring him outside the class in it.

"Expecto patronum," he cast as he focused on the fact that he had been lucky enough to finish his schooling completely.

MEMORY: Becoming Quidditch captain
AND… 4
Apparently, Una being in a whole other country was no longer strong enough among his memories. Damn it, couldn't she ever be useful as a sister? Apparently not.

Focusing instead on what he had gotten that Quidditch captain badge among his supplies, he tried again. "Expecto patronum."

Ignatius took a deep breath, moved a little in the hopes of improving his stance before casting the spell again. "Expecto patroum."

#21
Oh my. It seemed her luck from last time would not be happening instantly. No matter, she would just have to try harder. Improving her stands, she concentrated on her memory again and incanted the spell. "Expecto patronum."

#22
Still in deep concentration, she attempted once more with a change of stance and better enunciation."Expecto Patronum

MEMORY: Her first time flying a broomstick.
AND… 4
FORM: I TRUST YOU <3
PREVIOUSLY ON DADA: Hooonestly I don't remember and I cba to look it up. :P

Cee had already done this last year, without success. Then again, last year had been too soon after the Revelation. No wonder she hadn't been in the mood to perform magic that was based on happiness. She was in a better mental state this year now that the wound wasn't so fresh and she'd had her pleasant experiences as a Quidditch captain.

It was a Quidditch-related memory that she went for. Her first time flying a broomstick. She could remember feeling such glee when her feet were detached from the ground and she began to go higher and higher. It was the best feeling in the world, flying. She envied birds and animagi that could turn into avian creatures for it.

With that thought in mind, Cee cast: "Expecto patronum!"

MEMORY: (though it's more like a hope/dream so may not work) being named head girl
AND... would be a 5

Well this was just frustrating and Emmeline was starting to get more and more angry. But, she had to get this. She had to prove she was smart and good at what she needed to do if she ever wanted to be named Head Girl. That thought stuck within her and she soon found her memory being replaced with that of a hope and a dream as she raised her wand and casted the patronus spell again.

Rupert didn't really know what memory to pull from his mind for this. His life had been pretty blessed, really but due to how he had been raised, he also had a sense of entitlement about most things. He deserved them so he didn't particularly get overly happy about getting them. Ah well, he supposed he would think of when he made the Quidditch team.

"Expecto patronum."

MEMORY: Moroccan whore sex.

Kristoffer was going to be great at this, because he was great at everything. Also his memory was greater than everyone else's, because he bet no one else had ever lost their virginity somewhere exotic like Morocco. Hell, he bet no one else had even lost their virginity. Inexperienced losers.

With a smirk to illustrate that he was not among their number, Kristoffer cleared his throat and declared, "Expecto Patronum!"

Mr. Whitldege and Miss Crawford, this time, were more successful in their efforts, both producing a silvery wisp in turn and, on balance, making their peers look bad.

“You must feel your memory,” the professor urged his class above the sound of their spellcasting, “not only think it. Only in the joy of it will you find success.

Feel the memory, huh? Closing his eyes, Owain tried to focus on the joy he had felt about knowing that he was going to be able to be somebody. Once his Quidditch contract expired, he would have the means to do anything he wanted and he would have been able to play a sport he loved before doing it. "Expecto patronum," he cast, hoping he would be a little more successful this time.

Hearing the professors words, Munny let out a breath and rolled his shoulders as he tried to get back into the zone, so to speak. Feel the memory, feel the joy. How did he feel when he opened his Hogwarts letter and had the Quidditch Captain badge fall into his hand? Pretty damn great, right? "Expecto patronum."

Ignatius blushed despite himself when Professor Sleptov told them all that they had to feel their memory. Clearing his throat a little though he didn't know why he was doing it. He tried to focus on how he felt whenever the redheaded Ravenclaw was near him. The lilt of her laugh, the lift of her lips when she smiled, the glint in her eyes when she was speaking passionately about things that mattered to her... "Expecto patronum."

Well, the longer he tried to feel his memory, the more he realized it was underwhelming. Something had to be going right, though — he'd produced a silver wisp alongside Miss Crawford. After he'd really realized he was head boy (which was after he'd awoken the next morning, if he remembered properly), he'd had some ounce of hope that everything would be alright. He'd had a reason to keep moving forward. It had been hope. Once again, he cast: "Expecto patronum!"

Hope smiled as she did a little better than before. Wonderful! Focusing on her memory again and how she had felt, she tried again. "Expecto patronum."
