With a loud gasp, Ernie went stumbling into the midst...or was he hanging? Wide-eyed and partly terrified (not that he'd ever admit it), the intern cast Abernathy the nastiest scowl he could manage without making himself feel sick.

"What a prick," he snapped, angling his arm like he was about to throw his notebook. Except...he couldn't exactly aim probably with the mist fogging his senses, so instead he began pondering all the ways he might get Abernathy fired. "When I get out this, I'll end you - you'll see." He began to pat around for his wand.

Kieran leaned against the wall and cackled. He was pretty confident that he could take Nuffer in a fight if it came to that, although it was ultimately probably unlikely.

The search for his wand was continuously interrupted by the annoying cackles coming from Abernathy. The man, while admittedly attractive with his brown curls, was more insufferable than Michaud - and that was saying something. Finally, after a minute of trying to locate his wand, he was able to apparate out of the mist like Abernathy had done. "One of these days I'll get you back. You know that," he grouched.
