— Savino (or another Seer pal) foresees the character's death or something tangentially related, tries to figure out the meaning/warn them/save them/otherwise meddle, either Savino is awkwardly like "i told you so :/" if they don't listen or he feels horribly responsible for their death, whatever xD
— Depending on their manner of death, I have healers (Ari, Rommy) who could try and fail to save their life and then feel guilty when the former patient keeps hanging around xD
— Ari also has secrets to be blackmailed about!
— I have people in Bartonburg and/or Pennyworth to have been former neighbours or have fun neighbourly disputes with a ghost?
— If any of my people are in the right bracket to have been friends w/the deceased, I will take an unwilling pet owner anyday~
