Chuckling as he paid attention to the toast, Fletcher couldn't avoid the grin on his features as she sidled up to him. He quite liked that, he was sure. Feeling her pressed against him and even her lips against his shoulder had a whole different allure to it. It wasn't something he'd ever really experienced. Before Eavan, any nights spent with a woman were typically not spent in his own home and he never woke up to them. No, this was far more enjoyable than anything he'd ever been involved in before.
Set to buttering the toast, he shook his head in response to her question. "No work today," he answered easily as he finished up the toast then turned to face her, his own hands falling to her waist and pulling her close to him. He leaned down and kissed her softly then, a sweet and chaste kiss even if he was already longing for so much more.
"I thought maybe I could show you one of the cottages," he said after he had pulled back from the kiss, his own blue eyes falling to meet hers, "But a day spent solely in bed wouldn't be a bad idea either." He smirked then, knowing it was a bit brazen to suggest such a thing but he really couldn't help himself. He was smitten, plain and simple.
