Fletcher had groaned just a bit when Eavan had untangled herself from him and me him softly to slip from his bed. He'd been groggy enough not to really realize what was happening though and had managed to curl up all over again to doze back off. It was his day off, after all, and he rarely got up earlier than necessary on such days. He took his time on days like that and didn't fully get going rally until around afternoon tea. But that was okay. He was a bachelor for the most part after all so it wasn't as if it really hurt anyone.
But something was different about that morning and his groggy, deep sleep induced mind didn't seem yo really be wrapping his mind around what was different. At least, not until he started to smell bacon cooking and the beginning smell of fresh coffee being brewed. He'd have to have lost sense of smell to not realize such a thing and soon found himself lifting his head up from his pillow. Propped on his elbows, he glanced around while rubbing at his eyes. The realization of what was going on fully dawned on him then as he took note of the discarded dress on his floor. She had stayed with him all night, he knew that much, but she hadn't just left when she'd women up.
He grinned at that thought though knew he shouldn't have been surprised. Pushing himself from the bed, he pulled on a pair of sleep pants from his wardrobe before meandering out of his bedroom. He took note of the fact that she'd cleaned up the mess of the living before heading into the kitchen.
The sight he was greeted with was one he was sure he'd never get used to but would always enjoy. His little red headed beauty in one of his shirts working on breakfast was something he never knew he'd needed in his life but he was sure he always would now. Quietly, he came up behind her and gave her rear a little pat before slipping a hand around her waist and kissed her neck just below her ear lobe. "I could definitely get used to this," he said with a slight chuckle.
