Eva heard it before she felt it. The yelling had prompted the croc back to action and it hissed loudly just before she felt its teeth sink into her flesh. A mangled scream tore from her lips as the teeth lacerated her midsection. Eva had endured some pretty nasty wounds from animals, but nothing like this.

She fell to the ground as it disappeared, hands pressed to whichever wound she found leaking the most, wincing and gasping in pain. "Infirmary, now please." She could feel her shirt and pants soaking with blood from the punctures. Until this she'd been pretty confident, but now she was actively worried.
