Something else was to come, it seemed, and it was nothing like he'd ever seen before—and he'd seen a lot of crazy shit in his life. An abnormally large chunk of ice fell from the sky and hit his arm, prompting him to let out a vicious hiss a slew of swears. The bleeding slice down his forearm was alarming enough, but his attention was immediately redirected to the even more alarming observation: there were fireballs hitting the ground. Just like rain would.
"Everybody, move," he hissed, his eyes immediately looking for the two youths of the group. "Not into the forest, though. For all we know it we could be stuck in forest fire." As silly as that sounded (it was raining!), there was really know telling what would happened—this was as unnatural as unnatural could get.
