Benjamin could, he thought, be relatively okay with losing to his best friend—after all, he knew Fudge was far from useless, and had supported the other Ravenclaw's efforts in the earlier rounds of the competition. Still, though, the seventh year was rather competitive, and so worked diligently on his Elixir to Induce Euphoria. The fact that the headmaster was their judge did not help his nerves in the least. Finally, he was done.
It did not surprise Somersby in the least that it had come down to him and Turner. What did was that the headmaster was overseeing their competition. Use to observation from his work with the animals at home, Somersby shook off any outside thoughts and began work on his potion.
Well, that was that. Mr. Turner was clearly the winner in this instance. Nodding toward the boy, Phineas then cleaned up and got the hell out of dodge.
