Julius Scrimgeour bounced back from repeated problems caused by his sister (Bella Scrimgeour) and, to a larger degree, his late, criminal father. Now thirty, he realizes he really does need to get married and really, he is out of excuses. He was in love once (@"Eloise Manwaring") and does not think he ever will be again, but he does want a partner—someone on the same page, with whom he can grow to share mutual respect and friendship.

The threads would be set during the last week of July or first week of August, but start sooner than later. Over 24 need not apply unless otherwise stated. I am looking for the following candidates:

• The Fresh Face: New to Society in the 1892 season! (UCAB)
  
• The Widow: Early to mid-twenties and widowed. (UCAB)
  
• The Disaster: Someone who is as far from suited to Julius as possible. (UCAB/MCPB)
  
• The Climber: Someone from a less illustrious UC family (maybe with some scandal of their own), OR someone from a MC family looking to propel her status higher. (MCAB/UCAB)
  
• Good on Paper: Everything about her breeding, dowry, accomplishments, etc. should be perfect. Whether she is, though, that's another story. (MCPB/UCAB)

I recognize that wishes don't always come true—feel free to chuck others at me; while I'd prefer these roles, I'll take what I can get xD

The twin sister of Bella Scrimgeour. After her sister was kidnapped as an infant, Araminta was raised as an only daughter. She is a product of her upbringing: educated and well-mannered with an air of haughtiness to her that isn't uncommon in girls of her status. It would be the distinct difference in attitude that would lead to many differences of opinion between Araminta and her twin as they navigated their relationship after they were formally reunited in their first year of Hogwarts. Araminta was—and still is—all too willing to fit into the small box society designed for women of her station, and resented how her life was upended by her father's imprisonment and sister's disownment (especially since it is difficult to tell them apart!). Her reputation is a 6.

Pfttt. I have Juniper Edevane for at least fresh face, but I highly doubt they'd get along. Anyhow, if you want, I'll offer her lol.

Victor Daphnel (UCPB, 30) and Eldritch Morgan (UCHB, 28) are available for threads. Both probably fit the "not seeking but assessing" spot best but up to you.

Dorothea Twycross is not exactly "good on paper" because she has a business, but she does exist, haha. MCPB, 21, first season.

The Disaster: @"Christabel Dempsey" = UCHB, her radical political leanings might frighten the ever living dust out of his family, but there you go.

The Climber: @"Natsuko Mountbatton" could fit here OR in disaster territory. Her muse is affronted at being classified as a climber because she is chill with her blood - but is a crazy rich orphan and socially acceptable.

Good on Paper: Ginevra Blackwood -could fit here, her mother is also orchestrating dates for her

Lucretia Zabini - also offers her daugher or her


Thaddeus Flint - is in the market for a UCPB wifey, might be slightly trepidatious of her/family rep but good blood gives her some creidt.

I have a few prospects but not idea for your Julius choices.

Steliana Nicolescu can fit the Widow part, but she is over 24. (same age as Julius actually and a newcomer to Britain)

Araminta a couple maybes.

Malcorvus Flint is a Widower and over 45 but he's not actively seeking a new wife (as his player I do want to get him remarried eventually).

Terence Higgs is upper-class, over 28 and looking for a wife and probably isn't too much in the public eye...so he could fall in the 'Seeking Quiet Future'.

Edgar Minks is a maybe, he's a little young (couple years) and not currently Upper-class but definitely a rising Middle-class. He certainly could fall in 'Man Seeking Minty, Specifically'.

Lionel Lupin could fit Public Eye and I am open to him marrying a NPC. Normally he probably wouldn't consider it because of the family history but due to his respect for Julius, would maybe consider it. xD

Loretta Browne could probably be a disaster. She personally thinks she is one EDIT: though she is 25. When did that happen xD

MJ always makes her so pretty

For Julius I have Ida? I could see her as Climber (though not her choice), or Good on Paper.  Probably has a decent dowry for MC, as family biz is going well. Starting from end of July/August she's got a few friends in UC who are really pushing to set her up with someone in UC, doing all the intros/matchmaking. xD Her older brother might be pushing Ida that direction also. Ida, on the other hand, really doesn't think she likes most men. She plans to go to Flint Institute and do advanced research work, and assumes a suitor probably won't like this. 
 


For Araminta I have a newbie coming up Cassian of course! He's destined for a doom-spiral endgame with another, but there's plenty of time for him to make his rounds before that! Good for seeking public future I guess? 
Otherwise Thomas Harvey for the chaos of a handsome WC who's very much not what Julius wants for his sis.
