Miss Reid,

How much do you know about pyromancy? I have been reading some old volumes on different forms of divination by fire, and there are some methods I would very much like to try out for myself, to see how they work. It would be even more illuminating if you would come and offer your obvious passion for divination, ha perspective as well. Or certainly more fun for me, anyway.

I’ll find somewhere quiet to meet in London, perhaps after work one day? And you have my word there won’t be anyone else there! Just you and me – and Mr. Carmichael, if you like. What do you say?

Sincerely,
S. Zabini

P.S. The right answer is yes. It’s the only way I will stop asking.

Dear Mr. Zabini

I must admit most of my divination knowledge is limited to what I learned in school and even that education was confused by the interference of my Sight.  For that reason alone you’d be better off asking Mr. Carmichael.  He will always be my recommendation when it comes to the academic side of things.

That said, I will join you because I trust you know that if it is anything like your last gathering I will simply leave… and because I actually might have something to contribute to the discussion; I had a curious encounter with pyromancy not long ago. At least I suspect that's what it was.

Miss Reid

P.S. If you're looking for me to do any kind of readings you'll need to bring the materials.  I don't keep divination stock, generally speaking.

Miss Reid,

Then we must invite your Mr. Carmichael as well, and maybe he can enlighten us both. I have not found divination by fire has worked very well for me as yet – but I never learned the techniques at school either, so perhaps I am missing something. I am even more interested to hear your experiences, though. This is all very promising!

And don't worry, I know. I'm sorry about that, truly I am. As long as my mother doesn't find out my plans this time, we should be safe.

Sincerely,
S. Zabini

P.S. Please, Miss Reid. I don't need to be a Seer to have guessed that. All Divination materials will be supplied, and any readings are entirely optional. Happy?
