I write to enquire if you might be interested in participating in a deep water exploratory mission into the black lake, as part of the recent ministry investigation into the attacks and disappearances along the lakes margins. As you may be aware an expedition is being launched to ascertain the nature of the creature that is currently prowling the black lake. Mister Ewart Frasier of the experimental charms committee has assisted in furnishing a vessel capable of undertaking a prolonged underwater examination of the lake.

A magizoologist of your skill would be most useful to the expedition in order to ascertain the nature and origin of the creature and advise other members of the team on the effective handling of any creature discovered to still be present in the lake. Given either the unprecedented nature or size of the creature this may be an opportunity for scientific as well as legal illumination.

Your earliest attention of this letter would be greatly appreciated.
