I shouldn't say anything—indeed, I was specifically directed not to, but you know I have never been one for taking direction. Fortunately, I shall have to do so much less moving forward: it seems I'm to be given that promotion after all! It's all very hush-hush, of course, and shan't be official until the Ministry offices reopen in the new years, but Department Head will put me ahead of my brother, which will surely irritate him so deliciously.
