After a magical attempt on her life in 1877, Queen Victoria launched a crusade against magic that, while tidied up by the Ministry of Magic, saw the Wizarding community exiled to Hogsmeade, previously little more than a crossroad near the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In the years that have passed since, Hogsmeade has suffered plagues, fires, and Victorian hypocrisy but is still standing firm.

Eleana is the daughter of Museum Director, Miriam Kyprianou and is better as presenting herself on the social front in a more traditional sense... mostly. She still loves academia and her eyes will light up far more when discussing something of academic rigor versus the latest gossip. With that, she does try to keep things polite and often allows others to steer the conversation if the topic isn't particularly of her own interest.
A social butterfly that loves to give other people their opinions on clothes would be a welcome good friend, especially one that may not mind the occasional ranting about a historical topic or two (whether that friend is actually interested or simply let's Eleana get it out to humor her is strictly up for whomever is available, more than one person can fit this bill!). Ladies of any blood and social status of academic pursuit or in working rolls would be a great social scene for Eleana to be a part of as well, she's not picky when it comes to friends. She's also not picky about reputation so long as the person isn't a serious criminal and/or violent.
Hurling | While Eleana is officially a debutante, her heart isn't fully in it. She'd rather be in a working or academic roll but hasn't settled on anything. But she wouldn't mind a love match such as that her parents had before her.

As I mentioned in chat François Dupont is back on the market and I would love to have a thread between the two of them if you are interested. He is actively looking so her half hearted interest in the process might be a sticking point, as might the fact he is mentioned in the scandal sheets that she doesnt like (as the offended party but still). Otherwise he would be an excellent catch and the fact that she is from a non-english family is a bonus for him in his current mood.
Other than that, Benedict Hunter is in the year below, is a good boy and had generally positive relationships with female students including in her year. Its also a barely a secret that hes courting one of her house mates. He will soon be out of school so it might be nice for him to have a friend to interact with in Hogsmeade. Does she have pets?

Eleana has a half-kneazle/half-Maine Coon (a.k.a., a big af cat) named Roofus that she adores.
Unfortunately the calendar is looking sparsely at the moment for late january, but I think them meeting at a social gathering makes most sense. Some ball, regatta etc. Or they could meet whilst just both enjoying a shared activity independently. Perhaps they are both out at a greek restaurant and her accompaniment encourage her to allow her meal to be interrupted by the handsome man at the next table.
