1873: Ephemeral is born to a loving working class family. His mother dies soon after due to complications stemming from his birth. Ephys father is quick to discover that Ephemeral is a metamorphmagus, just like his mother before him was which makes it harder on him to stand the sight of his own son at first.
1874: Having been sick with grief since the death of his wife, Ephemerals father eventually dies. With no other kin to claim him, he is put into the care of an orphanage.
1877: The orphanage Ephemeral has been in is closed down. He is eventually moved to a place called the St. Mungos Home for Inconvenient Children. It is Hell on Earth for him, he especially finds the requisite Bible study to be heinous. Still, he makes do for the next few years though does discreetly do his best to be as inconvenient as possible whilst also maintaining a facade of being an angel to staff.

1884: Ephemerals Hogwarts letter comes and he is off to Hogwarts. He is swiftly sorted into Slytherin.
1886: During his time at Hogwarts, Ephemeral had come to be quite close to another student surnamed Eventide. As it would turn out, this other boy spoke of him to his family and Ephemeral finds himself meeting them. He is soon after brought into the family, starts going by their surname and is bumped up to middle class due to that being the status of the family taking him in. They cover his remaining time at Hogwarts.
1891: Ephemeral graduates from Hogwarts. He begins going even deeper into work for the Eventides. He proves to be quite skilled in various areas with a natural aptitude for the more... secret... things that they do.

1893: Dragons attack London which Ephemeral was present for. He is able to use the dragons as convenient cover for a murder he had been conducting at the time. His victims death is assumed to have been the dragons work. Other than that, his adult life has been tracking along with ease as he does tasks for the family and continues to prove that taking him in was an excellent choice.
1895: Ephemeral is in Irvingly when the Vanishing Mists occur. He manages to get away in time and is unscathed. As he lives in London, he isn't too worried about it spreading further.
