General | Gregory is still growing but currently stands at five feet, eight and a half inches. He has a slender but athletic build. He is naturally right handed but has trained himself to be ambidextrous. He has dark, curly hair and blue eyes. He has light brown skin.

Deportment | Gregory carries himself with confidence and purpose.

Fashion | Gregory wears the typical clothing of a middle class boy. He tends towards darker colours that are easy to move in due to his involvement in various sports.

Distinguishing Characteristics | A couple of beauty marks on his jawline, as well as one on the edge of his left eye and another on the left crease of his lip.

History:

1878 | November finds the Fynch couple welcoming their first child into the world. He is named Gregory Edwin Fynch.

1880 | A sister is born who is named Druella. Gregory does not tend to pay her much mind as she is not particularly entertaining as a newborn.

1883 | Gregory's first signs of magic appear which consists of sending his toys racing around the room.

1890-1891 | Gregory is sorted into Ravenclaw. He spends most of his first year exploring his new surroundings and making some friends. He is a highly curious and inquisitive young boy. He also develops an interest in Quidditch and joins the Quidditch and Flying club to help hone his skill and befriend like-minded students.

1892-1893 | In his third year, Gregory manages to make it onto the House Team as a house Beater. He is pleased with his personal achievement. He does what he can to mesh into the team and continue honing his skills.

1893-1895 | Gregory might have continued to live his average, unassuming existence were it not for the bee that felled his mother. His mother having died due to a bee sting, a switch seems to have been set off. His personality becomes a lot harder and he joins Dueling and Potions club. He quickly gains a reputation for being rather ruthless and competitive on the Quidditch Pitch and in other competitive endeavors such as dueling and potions competitions. Gregory does not personally discriminate between male and female competition - they are the same in his eyes (does that make him a feminist of sorts? lol) and he does not differentiate between them.

He thrives off of competition and rivalry. Any very close friends he might have might recognize that all of this has been a coping mechanism and steeped in grief and anger at the cards dealt to his family.

1895 | Gregory gets the Quidditch Captain badge in with his Hogwarts Letter. He also wins a flying race that took place in Hawthorne Hollow, having made an enemy of Louisa Weasley to do so.

Personality:

Gregory is an intelligent, curious and inquisitive young man with a mind for strategy. His mothers death has fueled a need in him to be the Best at anything he undertakes. He is highly competitive as a result and does not mind playing dirty to get the results that he wants. On the postive-ish side of this, he does not discriminate between gender. If a girl bests him, she will have earned just as much of his begrudging respect as a boy would. He is blunt and will not sugar coat his words which can sometimes rub people the wrong way.

Deep beneath his skin, under the many, many layers he has built around his heart, Gregory is a hurt young boy. He is deeply grieving and angry at the world for taking his mother from his family. A part of him is also actively working against forming deep attachments to other people due to a subconscious fear that he will lose him too. He is also protective of Druella even if he might not always show it.
