Want House Points?

DADA students should post below with links to pertinent threads if they complete any of the following tasks to earn some house points! Be sure to tag Gus Lissington so I see the post! A like from any of my accounts indicates I've doled out the appropriate points for you I try to do at least two classes a year. (One in the fall, and one in the spring.)

INDEPENDENT STUDY

Complete an independent study as your character, submitted via the homework forum, to earn up to 45HP! Assignments should be on a level-appropriate topic pertaining to DADA, and between 100 and 350 words long. To claim, post a link below! Redeemable once per term.

CLASS PARTICIPATION

Post in a class thread at least three times to earn 5HP. To claim, post a link to each of your replies below; no need to wait for it to be archived! Redeemable twice times per term, unless a third class is posted.

TUTOR A YOUNGER STUDENT

OWL and NEWT students have the opportunity to tutor a first/second year in DADA to earn 15HP. Threads should be archived and contain at least 8 posts, three of which must be your own! DADA-related things must be most of the focus of the thread. ONLY the tutor may claim this. The one being tutored should claim out of class work (see below.) The tutor cannot combine Tutor a Younger Student & Out of Class Work. Redeemable twice per term.

OUT-OF-CLASS WORK

Work on your DADA outside of class to earn 10HP. Threads should be archived and contain at least 8 posts, three of which must be your own! DADA-related things must be most of the focus of the thread. To claim, post a link to the thread below. Each participant must post to earn the points for themselves! Redeemable twice per term.

DEFEAT A BOGGART

Encounter and deal with a Boggart to earn 25HP. Available to students OWL-level and above. Can be a read-only, or a completed and archived thread with other character(s). To claim, post a link to the archived thread below! (OWL Students will also have a class thread on this, although that will not count as a defeat a boggart thread.) Redeemable once per year.

DUELING TOURNAMENT

Participate in a formal duel (win OR lose!) to earn 5HP. To claim, post a link to the archived duel—default wins don't count~~ Redeemable once per term.
