I'm getting aboard the Department of Mysteries Drama.
Sue me - but hey ... she's not technically a new character.......
Judy Hatchitt
Born May 28 1866 despite Judy's start to life being fairly well off she still grew up missing out on that vitally needed parental affection and its' created alot of emotional damage for her in her life and she originally found herself acting out and desperate for attention as a child and teen- especially as she was very intelligent and found classroom work less than stimulating. As an adult working as an Unspeakable for the Department of Mysteries she's intellectually stimulated and has created inner shields and has closed herself off almost completely to protect her fragile heart from even getting the chance to be hurt again. Unresolved Daddy and Mummy Abdandonment Issues - In Spades? She has essentially given up on seeking for attention - it's a hopeless cause ... though it is possible that she may have transferred those mummy and daddy feelings onto older staff members from whom she seeks approval. She's been doing alright for 30 years now so ... obviously it's time to crack that shell.
SHE NEEDS:
- Middle class accommodation for a single women / Room + Board When she was played last time I had her living in a mostly terrible room - it doesn't matter where she lives as she can apparate to the Ministry. Would prefer Hogsmeade however as that's our main locale. I'd prefer her moving in as a thread or plotline so we can start there.
- Peers - Judy was a Ravenclaw who attended Hogwarts from 1877-1884 and she made herself into a class clown, prankster and a bit of a nuisance enough to be remarked upon. She has cleaned herself up greatly since graduating (hard to get attention from people who just dont care) so thats fun.
- Friends and Acquaintances - Judy isn't your typical Victorian woman and is probably rather flakey outside work as it just isn't important to her. She's become the way she is now because of work so you'd have to deal with her lack of potential care about how she looks or dresses - or mother her into looking appropriately yourself. I see her as a bit of a Professor Plum character - all her energy goes into her interests leaving everything else at bare minimum. It's likely she's a bit neurodivergent but back then we called in Eccentric

- Workmates - Nough said additionally I'm not too sure she thinks too deeply about the archivists at this stage beyond being helpful coworkers who man the back catalogues as she also likes to keep her boundaries between work and her personal life and thinks such boundaries between the two . Ah oblivion...
- Family - I'm open to maternal family linkage. Her mother was essentially disowned from her family many years ago (PB marrying HB? UC marrying MC? Both? Either. Or.) for marrying her husband and together neither are around much at all however hey! You have this relative that clearly hasn't recieved their love and affection floating around. She's a spinister and lives... somewhere... whilst her married siblings have set up life in Irvingly.
- Potentially Romance? If you can break her shell go for it. She's been interested in boys before but I'm not opposed to intense female friendships. Not sure if she is though. Any relationship she has will have to be one of those slow burn lets wing it and see what happens things.
- Other Ideas? I have no current ongoing plot ideas for the Juju beyond a desire to dip my toes and interact with the adult world of Hogsmeade more than I have been doing, and a desire to check in on her life. Hit me up.
