November 2nd, 1895 — The Slums
Noémie would lean against the brick wall as she sat on the gravel on one starry night in the early morning hours, her head resting against one of the bricks; her eyes were closed. Even after all these years, after her transformation into a vampire, she still tried her best to continue to fit into the place she had once known while she was a human. Sometimes, being a vampire can have its moments; the challenges were hard to bear. Opening her eyes, she looked at the stars as they seemed to have danced above her head. Noémie sometimes missed her old life and the person that she once was before turning. At the same time, she knew that she had to continue to get used to the person that she is now, despite being almost 300 years old.
