This is Effie May. She was in Ravenclaw from 1881-1886, on the quidditch team as seeker from 1884-1886, and then got her OWLs and dropped out. She's introverted, but she's extremely competitive, scrappy, and a raging feminist. Flies everywhere on her beat up broom because she never learned how to apparate.

She lives in Pennyworth with her parents and sister, and it's pretty well known that Hengist Woodcroft (the founder of Hogsmeade) is her ancestor. You might also know her family owned and ran The Three Broomsticks up until her father gambled it away in 1877.

She's worked her way up in the Ministry and is a proud Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Investigator.

Here's what I'm looking for:

WORKING CLASS: Neighbors, acquaintances, rivals, friends... I assume she's pretty connected to her community given she was born and raised in Hogsmeade.

COWORKERS: She'll likely know many people who work at the Ministry since she would have greeted them every day as a welcome witch. Figuring out relationships between others in her department would also be great!

FEMINISTS: Effie regularly attends meetings but I've been vague about where/when they are. If you've got something established already, let me know! Otherwise, we could sort it out if you have characters who would also attend these.

CONVERTS: She's very outspoken about her beliefs, so people she could have convinced (or tried or will try in the future) to become feminist could be fun (especially if they're debs!)

QUIDDITCH PLAYERS: Quidditch is still a passion of hers, and I can see her playing pickup games at Padmore Park or something when she can. If your character would play or be around a group who did that, let me know.

POTENTIAL LOVE INTERESTS: Effie hasn't realized it yet, but she is 100% lesbian. Would love to get some threads going to try to get her to explore/realize this.

MISUSERS OF MUGGLE ARTIFACTS: I would love some investigation threads where Effie can show up and do her thing! This would probably fit if your character misuses muggle items, knows people who do, or has been impacted by an artifact.

Chrysanta Ruskin is a feminist and I do see her attending meetings. She may be either bi or gay, but she ain't straight. If anyone takes her, I heavily encourage and support possible love interest!

Sweetie is also a feminist, though isn't as pronounced in the social movements as Chrysanta (which does see them bickering privately at times), so she would be a rare appearance at a rally. She did, however, run for Minister and would say that she is for the women's vote if asked (along with several other civil rights).

Someone should take Chrysanta! That could be fun to play out. I'd think she and Sweetie would be aquainted but with the class difference, likely don't speak much or see each other outside of meetings.

Oooh perfect! We'll say Effie attends those meetings as well! Is there a canon schedule of sorts for those or are we just mentioning them willy nilly? I don't think they'd hang out outside of the meetings (class + age differences) but they could know each other well-ish from the gatherings?

Morrigan is a feminist at her core. She is too ~~disconnected from reality~~ to go picketing in the street, but she would randomly show up at meetings once in a blue moon and donate substantial sums to the cause.

Another avenue could be some sort of strange incident involving a muggle artifact gone rogue, most likely unintended by Morrigan, who does a lot of unpredictable magic experimenting.
