Appearance:
Stella is a combination of her parents and a few traits that seem randomly thrown in. Her eyes are a shade of gray and she quite wishes she had gotten either Pappa’s brown or Momma’s so pretty green. Instead, she just gets eyes that look like rocks. But while she finds her eyes dreadfully boring, she has always been fond of the smattering of freckles across her face and body even if society says she ought to not. She thinks they add a bit of sparkle to her that her Momma has. And she likes how they get darker when she’s been out in the sun. It's like a physical reminder of all the time her family spends outside together.
What she did get was both her parents’ dark brown hair though it has taken on a lighter tone after so many years in the sun. While at home, she is often found with her hair in various states. In the morning it starts in a neat braid but by evening, pieces are falling out to the point where there is more hair out of the braid than in. Outside the home a bit more effort is put into keeping her hair contained but it is by no means ever done up in any fancy way. But it is in her build that she looks most like her parents. Tella is lean and slight with a barely noticeable layer of muscle from a childhood spent in various athletic pursuits from flying to horseback riding.
Also like her parents, she is far more concerned about the comfort of her clothes than the look of them. And thanks to their preferences, she grew up without the experience of having to play dress up like a doll. Her clothes are well-made but simple, often in dark colors. Around the house, she quickly takes up Aoife’s habit of wearing men’s attire and wishes she could get away with wearing pants outside the house too, and is a bit worried that going to Hogwarts will mean the end of that freedom.
She is left-handed.

History:
1882 | Stella and Ramona are born a wee bit to early to be honeymoon babies but no one really says anything. The two - despite being identical - are quickly distinguishable if you know anything about them. If she is loud and expressive, it is Ramona. If she is quiet and watchful, it is Stella.
1883 | Grandma Olivia has her last children - Regina and Warrick. They are no longer the only set of twins in the immediate family. But they are also the only other babies Stella has been exposed to and so the young girl starts to assume all babies come in pairs.
1884 | This year is a whirlwind and most of it is a bit more than the one and half year old can truly understand. The year starts out well with the introduction of a baby brother - Duncan. Tells is instantly smitten with him and doesn’t really understand why he is missing his other half like she has Mona. But it isn’t even a month later disaster falls and Duncan is lost too - and Grandfather and Warrick to the Laughing Plague. It doesn’t take long for her to figure out that asking where Duncan when makes momma sad so Tells stops asking and is happy to act as a comfort object to her mother.
1886 | Tells and Mona are given their first toy brooms for their birthday and Stella takes to flying just as would be expected as the child of a current and former quidditch player.
1887 | Grandmother Olivia is killed by an explosion at the market and at five she still, really doesn’t understand death but knows when she is told that Grandmother Olivia is gone in the way Duncan is gone. Pappa also retires from his team and while she misses going to watch his games she is thrilled he no longer has to go away a lot.
1889 | Tells displays her first sign of magic conventionally late but no one was really worried (or at least no one mentioned to her they were worried), not when she’d been zipping around on a broom almost as long as she could walk. But her first true sign of magic comes. And with her first sign of magic behind her Stella determines she is a big girl now and as such is old enough to start receiving lessons in ridding and archery and her resulting obsession is surprising for the typically relaxed child. Apparently there is some of her parents in there somewhere it is decided.
1893 | Aunt Ellory dies. She is quite upset by this as she had always liked her aunt. Ellroy had always been the strange sort of eccentric Stella liked.
1894 | Hogwarts is quickly approaching and with it her growing excitement. But still, she’s reluctant to leave Momma and Poppa at home without them, not sure how they’ll handle both her and Mona leaving at once with they still seem so shaken by loosing Duncan. She knows they are just going to Hogwarts, it isn’t the same but she worries nonetheless. But her own wand and her own adventures just like Momma and Poppa tell her about theirs.
Personality:
Quiet | Thoughtful | WhimsicalAt first glance, one might mistake the young girl for shy but it would be a mistake to see quiet and think shy, at least in Stella’s case. No, rather she has simply grown up quite used to - and content to - letting Ramona do the talking for both of them. The pair often share their opinions on things when it really counts so it rarely ever causes any issues. That isn't to say that Tells doesn't have her own opinions and ideas. No, she has plenty of them. Often to many of them that she can be a bit unrealistic and impractical with her flights of fancy. Prone to daydreams, she is quick to determine if something holds her interest and if it doesn't, it has little hope of ever gaining it. As such, she faired poorly in her governess lessons simply when she determined that tea parties and manners were boring. And against her governess's greatest efforts this does sometimes apply to people as well, sometimes leading to the incorrect view age is rude or believes herself better. Those who catch her interest, she is deeply loyal - somewhat to a fault - and is easily hurt when someone breaks her trust as she tends to not understand why someone would. Like her twin, she did well in their music lessons and has come to favor the piano, even starting to try her hand at composing her own pieces though she can be highly critical of her own work.
