He grinned slowly. "I'll start there." It had been a long while since it was used, but he had some books in the library at home he could use to get it up and running. Nigel let his hand slide to her waist, holding her there lightly, still not ready to let go. Cleaning up the space wouldn't take too long and he would probably start there in reality, but he would give the telescope special attention after that.

The grin faltered just slightly, but he nodded. "I agree, I'm sorry it has to be like that." There were quite a few outside factors working against this and they would need that time to figure them out. He didn't want to think about the hardships now, he could save that for later when he was sitting in the library with another glass of whiskey.

Enid nodded. Tentatively, she leaned up to press a kiss to his mouth. ''It'll be alright,'' she said. She was not sure that it would be, but it was nothing they could solve right now — they needed to spend more time with each other first.
