Ahh, Mrs. Sweeney. Yes, Fletcher was definitely going to hear about this from the housekeeper he had a feeling. It would be alright though. If he knew any better, the woman would take pride in the fact she'd helped with the matchmaking or something. It seemed most older women liked to do that sort of thing. He knew his mother did, at least, so chances were she'd take some credit for the turn of events. Of course, she'd likely give him a good scolding first. He'd take it though. It was all worth it as he looked up to Eavan and saw the happiness in her face.

He chuckled again as she took a turn at looking at him with shock. He nodded simply. "Really," he echoed with a smile, "After out talk in the aviary. We haven't exactly been going by the books on anything here so I though I may as well get a head start on securing a home." It was probably a bit of a bold maneuver on his part. There was no surety that they were going to remain together after everything that had happened, at least it hadn't been said out loud. He had had his hopes though and he felt even more sure after what they'd just shared together. It had been more than just have sex. They'd made love and it had been the perfect start to yet another chapter of their roller coaster of a life.

The short kiss was a sweet one, one that had him humming with delight. The thank you was a bit abrupt and out of place but he didn't mind in the slightest. He brought a hand up to rub a thumb over her cheek as he smiled up at her. "Anything for you, Eavan," he answered, sincerely meaning it.
