It would all come together. Delia could be patient, even if it did not come naturally to her. This was important and the details needed to be right before she made any moves.

Not to the point that her own mother did, but in her hyper-focused states, she was easily lost to the details and not the bigger picture. "I will speak with the housekeeper before I go and I'll write." If she was to be off again, somebody would have to take over these smaller things so that they did not get missed. The housekeeper was the natural choice, as she was by far and wide the most organized one in the house.

Delia stood after Melinda did, ready to show her out so she could be on her way. "Best of luck with your other collections." Melinda did good, honest work and deserved the donations more than most who came knocking.
