Ahn-Bo’s pout was almost too much for him. Jin felt the ridiculous urge to pull his friend’s lower lip between his teeth and bite down on it, but he could not for the life of him have explained why. Focusing instead on how sweet the pout and subsequent statement were, Jin grinned and gave Ahn-Bo a soft squeeze. “I know,” he agreed softly.
As for the actual, literal whine that came next— Jin laughed outright. He was impressed Ahn-Bo-ah could even make that sound, but it was arguably the cutest one he’d ever heard. Jin wanted to keep it in his little treasure box of memories forever. Especially because Ahn-Bo had called him Jin-ah! He’d never done that before. Jin wasn’t sure anyone had. He immediately poked his friend in the cheek and made a noise of appreciation. “You called me Jin-ah,” he pointed out, voice dripping with adoration. Jin gave Ahn-Bo a quick kiss on the nose for it, sure that his face had twisted into something equally lovesick. As for the matter at hand—
“Araso,” Jin chirped. He hadn’t particularly wanted to stop and go to breakfast either but at least he’d tried. Maybe they could sneak a snack break between classes; if Ahn-Bo-ah’s tummy started to hurt. He grinned again and tugged Ahn-Bo back towards the piano. It was a much easier cover (if they were found) that he was showing his classmate something he was writing rather than them just standing here and jumping apart like they had something to hide. Which— sure, but they needn’t be so obvious about it!
Sliding into the seat, Jin patted the vacancy next to him. “So it looks like we’re working,” he clarified conspiratorially.
