Brooks sighed heavily. He should have known she wouldn't make this easy for him. Part of it was his fault for entertaining a somewhat physical extension of whatever it was that they'd once been. But it couldn't go on any longer. This house was no longer just his, he had decided to move on and he was, so there was no reason to keep ties to the past.
"Get out, Mor, or I will." He could find a place to sleep, go to his mate's house, cite some pre-wedding jitters. "But you can't come back anymore. This isn't just my house anymore." Hopefully having a second occupant would deter her from these late-night, surprise visits.
