Jin smirked heartily at the look Ahn-Bo gave him over his cards. He was trying to be distracting since it was the only tactic he had available to him, but the response was even better than he’d have hoped. Pupils enlarged, shifting in his seat— there was no focus on the other side of the table and Jin was smug. If he’d been any less of a gentleman he’d have kicked off his shoe and made a play under the table but he wasn’t that vulgar. Or desperate to win. Yet.
Instead, the half-vampire sat up and ran a hand through his tidy hair, mussing it. His fringe was almost long enough to hang in his eyes and it was certainly long enough to pull on which he did, a little impatiently. Ahn-Bo finally responded and Jin flashed him another toothy grin. So he was staying. “I’ll accept any proposal from you, Bo-ah,” the little vampire hummed in response, a little singsongily. (Maybe there was some modicum of alcohol in these drinks. Not that Jin had one at present.) He had just made to take his own move when Ahn-Bo’s little splash diverted his attention.
Like a hunter spotting its prey out in the open, Jin felt his gaze narrow. That cagey, trapped feeling in his chest roared at the sudden, desperate urge to touch that he knew was absolutely impossible. There was no way Ahn-Bo had done it on purpose and yet he benefited solely from the distraction and frustration that scrawled itself obviously across Jin’s face. Deciding that he could make do with tidying his brother up from a distance without throwing anything, Jin made a small noise under his breath. His fingers twitched just slightly and a gust of wind blew up from Ahn-Bo’s lap sending the cards - and that splash - flying.
Jin laughed at the outcome, pointed canines flashing under the dim lights. When he regained himself and grinned back, it was without any of the restraint he normally had to hide his fang-like features. A single dimple peered out over the mess as he gave an innocent little shrug. “Guess the game is over. Does that mean I win?”
