Now she was angry. Funny how that worked; she seemed to have not been picking up the hint for most of the conversation, but now he'd made it too clear for her tastes and she was accusing him of being impolite. Well, he probably was impolite. Not that he cared. Polite was something for posh people to concern themselves about. If one of them hired him to deal cards, he'd be polite as could be until he left the premises — but mostly he'd accomplish that by not saying anything. He knew how rich people worked. They didn't want to talk to people like him.
