If she was surprised at his response, Sabine did everything in her power to hide it. His house? Why in bloody hell did she have a portkey to his house? And who was he, anyway?!
She stood shakily, feeling a bit unstable from her sudden drop from the sky, despite the brave front she was so determined to uphold. Sabine brushed herself of stray foliage and frowned, hard. This particular nightgown was a deep green thankfully, not a scant white or embarrassing pink, but it was still… thin. She cringed at the thought. She was going to have to play nice if she wanted to get home and quickly.
Turning back to the gentleman who had, at least, turned to look upwards rather than at her, Sabine let out a sigh. “What do you mean, your house?” She demanded. (So much for nice.) “I don’t even know you! There’s no good reason I should have a portkey to any strange gentleman’s estate amoung my belongings!” Of that she was sure. And it was too nasty a prank, even for her brothers.
