Did You Know?
Braces, or suspenders, were almost universally worn due to the high cut of men's trousers. Belts did not become common until the 1920s. — MJ
Had it really come to this? Passing Charles Macmillan back and forth like an upright booby prize?

The Frankenflora Project;; [NEWT Herbology]

It was with narrowed eyes that Billie watched the new professor. She had quite liked Skeeter. Clearly, her opinions on the newbie were up in the air currently.

When the assignment was explained, however, she beamed and very carefully skimmed over the options. Dirigible Plum? Nah. Snargaluff? No... Gillyweed? Hmm...possibly.

When Anne spoke, she was pulled out of her reverie, and she full on snorted at the girl's look of glee. She gave her a very approving nod and, likely, would have said something incredibly off color as some sort of encouragement, but she didn't want to make a terrible impression with the new professor. At least, not, yet.

"Puffapod and Bouncing Bulb," she stated, sounding decisive. "Might be a good defense plant. Throw 'em and they bloom, but all--BAM! they grow fl--really tall! Have a whole lot of 'em blooming and growing and bouncing at once, and it would be a real good way to keep something away so you can run. Might be good if there are any creatures chasing ya."
