Dear Diary,

Hello. My name is Poppy MacFusty. Today is my eleventh birthday. Mummy gave me you this diary as a birthday gift. It was very sweet of her. I'm determined to write here everyday.

I don't know what else to write. What do I talk about? My day, maybe?

I had a good day since it was my birthday. Daddy made a cake that wasn't the prettiest but it tasted good, and it was my favorite color, pink! Callum didn't like it but Gavan did. I think Arthur did too but he mostly got it all over himself and needed a bath after. Mummy said the baby in her tummy liked it too, but I don't think she actually knows that for sure. It's not like she can talk to it, right?

Anyway, that was my day.
