Cleverly schdeduled before a new crop of debs arrives on the scene, Iphigenia Adebayo is rumoured to have taken on the planning of the event almost single-handedly—under her grandmother's watchful eye, of course.

Spells similar to those used in Hogwarts' great hall have been used on the walls and ceilingof the Adebayo ballroom, making the guests feel as though they have been transported to the cosmos with stars, planets, and other celestial bodies visible all around. A rather ornate telescope has been set up on the terrace for those who want a closer look at the real thing. Guests are encouraged to dress "celestially"—think lots of white, silver, or colours associated with individual planets. Other than this, it's a standard issue ball.
